Past Projects Through OCCC

We wrote and delivered thank you notes to faculty and staff of OCCC during multiple meetings.  Some students chose to include a smiley face balloon (Spring 2018).

We delivered 100 blankets and many decorated BPA free water bottles, bottles of water, and gloves to people near a bus station in downton OKC (Spring 2018).

​

We volunteered for a full day in new construction for Habitat for Humanity (Spring 2018).

​

We volunteered at the Norman Veterans Center, making root beer floats for residents, helping with golf cart rides, visiting with residents, and interviewing residents (Spring 2018).

​

We held a sock drive for the homeless on campus during the Fall 2018 semester and delivered the socks to people at bus station along with bottles of water and snacks near Christmastime.

​

We had a stress relief table with free popcorn on campus on November 24, 2018, at which we shared opportunities to work out at the gym, passed out care packs with water bottles, stress relief balls, candy, etc.

​

We had a guest speaker from the JD McCarty center share about volunteer opportunities at one of our meetings (Spring 2019).

​

We held another drive for socks and other items for those in need (Spring 2019).

​

We have posted inspirational and encouraging quotes and videos on our public Facebook page to promote and extend kindness.
